From November to March, seven evenings of haute-cuisine with at the center of the Board, the flower of winter, in all its variants: red Treviso and variegated of Castelfranco Veneto.
Treviso tradition for excellence, the radicchio doesn't disdain daring combinations with spices and ingredients from distant lands and that met just the limit of imagination of the chefs.
The Festival was founded ten years later than her older sister, Cocofungo, thanks to the enthusiasm of the Group of restaurateurs who created it. The purpose of both is to give prestige to mushroom and radicchio, princes of the Treviso table, which in their simplicity can go to compose dishes always currents, without sacrificing quality.
The water source and in general the Winter creates from the ground one of the most appreciated in the culinary landscape of Marca, both for flavor and for innumerable nutritional properties and the easy with which blends in a variety of recipes, ranging from Starter up to dessert.
Cocoradicchio is a gastronomic and cultural combination: in 2012 the art of Bernardo Bellotto, "Canaletto of European courts," accompanied the evenings, with seven menus inspired by many works of art.
The excellence of the territory, from good food to the artistic heritage, are celebrated in this privileged moment of conviviality.
During the same period within the Billboard "winter flowers" you can visit numerous exhibitions of radicchio with food stands, music shows and conventions in a party that week by week through various appointments, keeps alive the culinary tradition and folklore of Treviso.
